Negambo is a bustling city close to the Bandaranaike International Airport. Located at the lagoon-mouth, Negambo is a major tourist destination with an old, large and thriving fishing industry. The beach here is quiet and peaceful, and sight of the fisher folk out at sea is a particularly charming site. Negambo with its long sandy beaches is a perfect location for a beach holiday with a range of beach activities such as kite surfing and an active night life.
