Minneriya National Park

Minneriya National Park is a wildlife sanctuary located in the North Central province of Sri Lanka. Nature lovers on Minneriya safari often spot large number of Sri Lankan elephants gathering around to grass fields. In addition, there are large herbivorous mammals such as Sri Lankan sambar deer and axis deer, rare and endangered species such as Sri Lankan leopard and sloth bear and many other species.
