Batticaloa has many iconic diving sites in Sri Lanka. The sea around Batticaloa is filled with many wrecks, rocks and colorful fishes. H.M.S Hermes undoubtedly one of the best wreck dives in the world is also in Batticaloa. The average depth of Batticaloa diving sites are between 9~53 meters.
